What's your favourite Bible passage & why?

Without doubt my favourite verse from the Bible is 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-control." I find this to be enormously encouraging, empowering, and enabling.

How do you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus?

This happens through others. My husband and I worship together; I am in a wonderful Church community and small Bible study group, and a workplace with many strong and faithful Christian colleagues.

What would you like the next generation of Christian women to know?

I would want women, men and children to know of God’s love and sacrifice for them, how they can be part of God’s family and special friends of Jesus.

What's one thing that you love about your local church?

My Church is one of strong biblically based teaching. This is vitally important for spiritual growth and understanding of God’s plan for my life.

What did you learn about God at a time in your life you found hard?

I learnt that God is always there, always will be and always has been.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about my family, and others’ families. I am passionate about learning and how we can settle on self-acceptance whilst at the same time striving to be the best we can.

What do you enjoy doing when you rest?

I don’t really rest. God gives me energy and the ability to throw myself in to life. Rest will come later.
