Tell us a little about yourself

Hey everyone! I'm a wife and mother to 3 daughters (all 3 under the age of 4!) and this takes up the majority of my day. Sometimes it takes up ALL my day. I'm a qualified drama and dance teacher who taught herself photography whilst still at university. Water is my drynk of choice with chai lattes a close second. I love sunshine, cats and sidewalk chalk. My favourite thing to do through photography is to show people how beautiful they are and the world they live in.

What's your favourite bible passage & why?

I can't ever go past Joshua 1v9

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

This verse gives me strength when I need it most, when I don't feel up to the challenge or when I need a good kick up the bum.

How do you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus?

Becoming a mother opened up my eyes to how much I am loved by God. When I see my kids each day, as they grow, when they make me proud and when they do the wrong thing, I am reminded of His grace, how much He loves me. It's a daily reminder of how blessed I am both to be a mother to my girls, but also to be loved by the creator of the world.

What would you like the next generation of Christian women to know?

Be kind to one another - everyone is on their own journey.

What's one thing that you love about your local church?

The sense of community that is so present through the generations in the congregation.

What did you learn about God at a time in your life you found hard?

He is always there, waiting for you to connect with him. Prayer is powerful, especially in developing a strong relationship with Him.

What are you passionate about?

Living a life you love.

What do you enjoy doing when you rest?

Investing in myself, whether it be reading a book in a bath full of bubbles or crossing something of my creative to do list. You can't pour from an empty glass!
